Your originals stay put

Flight Recall keeps its library data and your edits on the Mac. Original videos stay on the storage you selected; only footage you explicitly choose follows an analysis route or gets copied for iPhone playback.

Hosted AI is planned for pilots who want Flight Recall to manage the provider connection without adding your own provider key.

When it opens, only your selected video will be uploaded for transient analysis and removed after processing. Your library and original files stay on your Mac.

Bring your own key

Add a Gemini or TwelveLabs key in Settings → AI Providers. Prepared footage goes directly from your Mac to the provider you choose, without Flight Recall hosted credits.

You keep the provider account and billing in your own hands while Flight Recall keeps the resulting timeline with the rest of your local flight library.

Browse the wider flight library your Mac has organized, but copy only the videos you choose to iCloud for playback. Recent packs or one run you want to study can come with you while the rest stays on its drive.
