What you need

Flight Recall uses ffmpeg and ffprobe to read flight videos, make thumbnails, prepare scans, and export clips. Install them with Homebrew before scanning folders:

brew install ffmpeg

Choose how AI runs

Hosted AI — coming soon: The planned managed route will run without your own provider key. It is not open for connection or credit purchases yet.

Bring your own key: Add a Gemini API key or TwelveLabs API key under Settings → AI Providers. You can also use GEMINI_API_KEY, GOOGLE_API_KEY, or TWELVELABS_API_KEY in your environment.

Flight Recall stores local data under ~/Library/Application Support/fltrcl/.
